Introduction
Hello! My name is Stacy Martinez and I am your child's technology teacher! Here is a little bit of background information about me.
I graduated from Worland High School in 1996. After graduation, I attended the University of Wyoming. In 2000, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education.
I moved to Kingman, Arizona for my first year of teaching in August of 2000. I taught a multi-age class, which consisted of kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students.
For my 2nd and 3rd year of teaching, I taught 1st grade in Thermopolis, Wyoming. Even though I taught in Thermopolis, I lived in Worland.
In 2003, I was hired to teach kindergarten in Worland. It was a rough year! Kindergarten is a very busy grade and I felt like it just was not for me. A position became available for 3rd grade and I jumped at the opportunity.
I taught 3rd grade for 10 years before taking on the position of Elementary Technologist, which is where I am today. My position continues to evolve as technology does the same!
